William Anderson, MBA is a Senior Vice President and Principal with ACRE Commercial. In addition, Bill acts as the co-director and broker for ACRE’s North County office. He has over 13 years of investment experience.
After graduating with a Business Finance degree from the University of San Diego, Bill was recruited as a licensed Financial Consultant for a major New York investment firm. After over 6 years of portfolio management, Bill moved on to earn an international MBA degree where his career interests shifted from the equity market to the investment real estate market. He has since worked for many years as a successful Senior Associate with a large national apartment group. Bill has represented more than $230 million in investment real estate. Bringing an in-depth understanding of investments and real estate experience to ACRE, Bill continues to specialize in the San Diego apartment market.
Bill, an avid surfer and golfer, lives in Encinitas with his wife, Mary, and their two children.

Craig Stewart, Senior Vice President/Principal
Craig Stewart has over 20 years experience in apartment brokerage and management. Craig literally started at the bottom, working his way through college as an apartment maintenance manager, eventually overseeing a large property management company with over 500 units under management. After obtaining his MBA, Craig left the apartment management business to take a position as Vice President of Product Development at Mail Boxes Etc. Craig decided it was time to jump back into apartment brokerage and management when UPS acquired Mail Boxes Etc.
Since his return to the brokerage business, Craig has represented clients in the purchase or sale of over $250 million in commercial real estate.

Christopher J Robinson, Senior Vice President/Principal
A native San Diegan, Chris Robinson has exemplified himself as a true business man in the field of commercial real estate. With 8 years under his belt at a previous national brokerage company, Robinson has closed over a quarter Billion dollars in apartment transactions.
Chris was raised from childhood around the apartment business and dove into the brokerage side at age 22, after graduating from UC Santa Barbara where he studied Economics. Chris is a principle in several investment properties throughout California and is leading a newly formed syndication group in the acquisition of local apartments. Chris believes in the philosophy of conservative consistency to accumulate steady wealth in the apartment business. Chris is currently working with a number of San Diego apartment investors who are looking to cash out, facilitate an exchange or expand their portfolios in 2010.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and surfing his favorite local beaches.

Matt Robinson is a native San Diegan and UCSD graduate who grew up in a real estate driven family and has been passionate about apartments for many years. Matt's local market knowledge, work ethic, integrity and attention to detail create the foundation for successful real estate transactions. Matt takes pride in providing premium client service, accurate apartment pricing and personalized advising for his clients. He has 12 years experience helping operate his family's apartment portfolio located in the Central San Diego area.

Adam Paulsen has spent over six and a half years at a national brokerage company, channeling his financial analysis background, with two Big 4 Accounting firms, into the commercial real estate industry, specializing in multi-family investment sales. During this time period, Adam has been involved in over a $100 million worth of real estate transactions. Adam believes in the philosophy of long-term client relationships and his real estate advisory focuses on conservative fundamentals in order to achieve wealth through apartment investing. Adam is currently working with San Diego apartment investors who are looking to acquire multi-family units for the first time or expand their portfolios in 2010 as well as apartment owners who desire to cash out or facilitate a 1031 tax deferred exchange.
With a business education from Pepperdine University, Adam is an expert at analyzing property investment with both a simple or complex financial model.

Matt, a Senior Director with ACRE, is a proud alumnus of UC Santa Barbara where he graduated with a Dean’s Honors degree in Business Economics and Accounting. Prior to joining our firm, Matt established himself as a successful investment advisor at a large national brokerage company where he was involved in closing over $50 Million in transaction volume on behalf of both institutional and private clients.
Matt specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family and retail investment properties throughout the nation with a focus on San Diego County and specifically the Southbay and East County submarkets. His services include property evaluation, buyer and seller representation, 1031 exchanges, and portfolio analysis. Matt takes pride in his persistence, problem solving skills, market knowledge, and above all his ability to satisfy his client’s needs.
Matt currently lives with his wife in Carlsbad and aside from real estate he enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Prior to joining ACRE, David managed the Special Assets group for Bank of Internet USA, now BOFI Federal Bank (NASDAQ: BOFI). With more than $2 billion in total assets he was primarily responsible for risk management for the bank’s $1.4 billion real estate loan portfolio. His knowledge and expertise in commercial workouts, note sales and restructuring has enabled both lenders and investors to facilitate transactions of distressed commercial assets. David’s experience in commercial real estate spans nearly a decade where he ran acquisitions for a private real estate fund of more than $250 million comprised of 3,000 apartment units. To his credit, David has been party to more than $120 million in real estate transactions and over $250 million in capital sourcing for commercial real estate investors. With his vast knowledge of capital markets and multi-family properties, David is an excellent addition to our firm.
David graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign with an MBA and received his B.S. from the W.P. Carey College of Business at Arizona State University.
Activities include surfing, hiking, boating and golfing. David lives in Solana Beach with his wife, Robyn, and their two children.
